The collection of poems written by Hattie L. McConnell, Christa's grandmother, have
been a source of inspiration to many over the years. Hattie was a preacher's wife whose
love and faith are reflected in these cherished poems.
One other note, Hattie volunteered at a local nursing home, assisting the elderly - when
she was 94! She was an amazing woman, filled with God's love and peace, who dearly
loved His Word.

If there is anything we desire and pray you
receive from this website, it is God's Peace. The
kids may be needing you every 75 seconds. Then
your spouse may need his or her time with you.
Of course, there's the dishes, the cooking, the
floors... But YOU need time, not just now, but
throughout the day with the One who loves you
so, to find JOY as you accomplish your routine
tasks. (Yes, it IS possible.)
